Common questions
How do I add a firm?
Open the Pipeline tab and tap the plus button in the top right. Search the built-in directory of banks, or type a firm name that isn't listed to add it yourself. Pick a division, set a status, and add a deadline if you know it.
Where do the deadlines come from?
StreetMap includes a directory of over thirty banks with their typical recruiting windows. When we have a confirmed date for the current cycle, the app shows it plainly. When we only have a typical window, the app says so, using wording like "usually closes early September." Confirmed dates always take priority over estimates.
You can always enter or change a deadline yourself on a firm's detail screen. Your own entry is what the app uses for that firm.
My firm isn't in the directory.
Start typing its name in the Add Firm search. If nothing matches, an option appears to add it as a custom firm. Custom firms work exactly like the others, they just have no deadline information attached.
How do I move a firm through the process?
Tap a firm in your Pipeline to open it, then tap any stage on the progress track to set its status. You can move backward as well as forward. Offer and Rejected have their own buttons below the track.
How do follow-up reminders work?
Open a contact and tap Log a Chat after you speak with someone. StreetMap records the date and suggests a follow-up two weeks out, which you can change or skip. Contacts due for follow-up appear at the top of the Contacts tab.
I forgot my password.
Tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen and enter your email. You'll get a link that opens StreetMap so you can set a new one. Open the link on the device where StreetMap is installed; on a computer it won't be able to launch the app.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings from the gear icon on the Home tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm and then to type DELETE. This permanently removes your account and all of your recruiting data and cannot be undone.
Is my data private?
Yes. StreetMap has no ads, no tracking, and nothing is sold to anyone. Your data is visible only to your own account. See the privacy policy for details.
Which iPhones does StreetMap support?
StreetMap requires iOS 18 or later.
